Advantages of undertaking an NCC training.

1.NCC cadets develop qualities like social service, team spirit, leadership, discipline and self-confidence.

2.NCC camps are held at different places in the country hence cadets get opportunity to visit important historical and industrial places and social centers and widen their horizon and develop ambition to do creative work.

3.NCC cadets are taught civil defense and self-defense. Due to this cadet develop national spirit and confidence.

4.NCC cadets are attached with army units every year so that they get acquainted with the army life.

5.NCC cadets are trained for parachute jumps and mountaineering so that they develop capacity to do courageous work.

6.Selected cadets are sent to foreign countries every year.

7.32 seats are reserved per course in the IMA for cadets who have passed NCC ‘C’ certificate examination NCC cadets having 50 aggregate marks in graduation with minimum ‘B’ grade in ‘C’ certificate examination is eligible for short service commission [NCC special entry scheme] without qualifying CDS written examination. They can face direct SSB interview.

8.NCC trained cadets are given preference in recruitment of armed forces.

                         Value of certificates and camps

There are three types of certificates “A”,”B”,”C”. the cadets can be eligible for the ‘A’ certificate after he complete 1-2 years in junior division (school level) and attending one training camp. For the ‘B’ certificate, you should have attended at least 75 per cent classes in the senior Division (in college) and one training camp. The most coveted is the ‘C’ certificate. To be eligible for this exam, cadet should be a ‘B’ certificate holder, in three years in college and should have attended at least one outdoor camp and one national integration camp or republic day parade or any other outdoor activity organized by the directorate of the NCC. The tests are held in March-April every year. A “C” certificate-holder has many advantages when it comes to the selection process in the armed forces.

Ekta Aur Anushasan is the Moto of N.C.C . The full form of N.C.C is "National Cadet Corps" . N.C.C activities are not just fun and games. These are for the over all development of better people and a better society.

The N.C.C training not only makes you more disciplined and responsible in life but it also helps you develop your personality and character traits. There is no dearth of knowledge and application of the educational subject in it. Various social and science are put to use in this training in different aspects of life. It also involves physical, arms, field craft, self defense, and adventure training along with many more activities to make the cadets more confident and fully competent to tackle any eventuality and challenges in life with success.

In these last 3 years i was an N.C.C cadet and i have learn a lot by joining the N.C.C .

In N.C.C they teach us how to fight with fire, they teach us to do drill with rifle and how to handle the rifle while firing.
